We arE fish creek oysters

Our love of oysters began apart, but now we grow together. :)

Originally from Oregon, Allison moved to Deer Isle in 2013 to work for local fishmonger, Ingrid Bengis-Palei. Learning about local fisheries and visiting aquaculture farms was an exciting part of this new job and settling into Maine. Jesse made his way onto Stevie Robbins’ lobster boat, which spurred 20 years of commercial fishing. Years of fishing offshore solidified the need to work on the water. The thought of growing/tending versus catching/extracting felt like the perfect transition while still utilizing a skillset.

Fritz, our dog, joins us to the farm regularly to stare at seaweed and birds. With time, he has grown to love oysters.
